Apollo Music Projects seeking new trustees

We are looking for two committed and passionate people to join our Board of Trustees.

The role requires a commitment to the work we do, bringing music to children in primary and special schools, and giving children the opportunity to access high quality music workshops and performances, working closely with professional musicians.

The trustees will play a full part in taking Apollo Music Projects to the next level, expanding the organisation from a sound base and reaching more schools throughout London and further afield.

The challenges for the next period include developing a strategy and business plan, navigating the uncertainty over school funding and changes post-Brexit, letting more people know about the important work we do and developing a training programme for workshop leaders.

Particular areas of expertise which we are keen to add to our team include:

  • Experience in strategy and business planning.
  • Business/corporate experience and contacts, including developing new funding opportunities.
  • Helping AMP to develop its network of supporters and individual donors

The new trustees will join a committed and passionate Board of Trustees and will have the drive and ideas to help us to move forward while keeping the collegial atmosphere and collaborative spirit we value so highly.

If you are interested, please send a cv and covering letter to david@apollomusicprojects.org.

The covering letter should include the following:
What attracted you to Apollo Music Projects?
What can you bring to the charity in the following areas: commitment to what we do, fundraising, strategy, specific knowledge and experience?
