Announcing three new funding grants

We've been fortunate enough to enjoy multiple pieces of good news recently - we have not one but three new grants to announce! We've received a very generous grant of £10,000 from the Accenture UK employee charity fund, Making A Difference - towards our programme of interactive classroom sessions, chamber orchestra workshops and symphony orchestra concerts at Hackney Empire.

We've also received a grant of £2,500 from the Ben Ogden Memorial Fund at the Allen & Overy Foundation (managed on their behalf by the East End Community Foundation), towards our programme at Hoxton Garden, Orchard and Southwold Primary Schools next year. The Ben Ogden Memorial Fund has been established by Allen & Overy in memory of Ben Ogden, who was on his way to becoming a very successful solicitor. He passed his Legal Practitioners Course with flying colours and at the end of his two year training contract with Allen & Overy was taken on in their employment and pensions department. It was during his qualification break that he tragically died in the Nepalese air crash on 28 September 2012.

And last, but certainly not least, we've received a donation of £500 from the Armourers & Brasiers' Gauntlet Trust, towards our programme at Harbinger Primary School in Tower Hamlets.

A huge thank you from all of us at Apollo Music Projects to our much valued funders, for enabling us to bring the magic of live classical music to more disadvantaged children in deprived parts of London. Thank you!
